COMMON QUESTIONS

Everything you should know before getting started.

Websites

Twin Oak builds modern business websites for many industries, including automotive, restaurants, retail, healthcare, contractors, professional services, real estate, education, events, hospitality, e-commerce and more.

We can build informational websites, service websites, booking-focused websites, online stores and other custom business websites.

Yes. Our websites are designed to work across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

We also pay attention to loading speed, navigation, readability and responsive layouts so the website remains usable on different screen sizes.

Yes. We can redesign, improve or rebuild an existing website depending on its current platform and condition.

We can also help migrate an existing website when moving to a new platform or hosting environment.

Yes. Your website does not have to match one of our demo designs exactly.

You can request different sections, forms, booking options, animations, galleries, integrations, AI tools or other features depending on what your business needs.

Demo Designs

Our Demo Websites are ready-made design examples that help you see what your future website could look like before we build it for your business.

They are starting points, not restrictions.

Yes. Demo designs can be customized with your business name, logo, colors, images, services, pages, contact information and other content.

We can also change sections or combine ideas from different demos when appropriate.

No. You can request a completely custom website even if none of the demos match exactly what you want.

Domains & Hosting

Not necessarily.

If you already own a domain, we can usually connect or migrate it as part of your website setup.

If you do not have one, we can help you determine the best domain setup for your business.

Yes. Depending on the website and plan, Twin Oak can provide managed website hosting as part of an ongoing service arrangement.

The Mini Website is a lower-cost website option hosted under a Twin Oak subdomain.

For example, a business could use an address similar to:

businessname.twinoakbizcare.com

A Twin Oak subdomain is not the same as owning a separate custom domain. Customers can upgrade to their own domain later if desired.

Pricing & Payments

Website pricing depends on the size of the website, design complexity, features, integrations, AI services, ongoing support and other requirements.

That is why Twin Oak uses custom quotes instead of forcing every business into one fixed price.

Use the Get a Custom Quote page and tell us what you need.

If you selected a demo, service or package before opening the quote page, that information may already appear there to make the request easier.

Some services or care plans may be available through the Twin Oak shopping cart and checkout.

Custom projects normally begin with a quote so we can confirm the scope before payment.

Website Care & Support

Yes. Twin Oak offers Website Care options for businesses that want ongoing help with maintenance, updates and support.

Yes. Ongoing changes can be handled through an active Website Care plan or quoted separately depending on the work involved.

In many cases, yes. Our WordPress websites can be set up so authorized customers can manage appropriate website content while Twin Oak handles more technical work.

AI Services

Yes. Twin Oak is developing AI website-assistant services that can help answer business-related customer questions directly on a website.

Availability and features may depend on the business and selected service plan.

The AI Phone Receptionist is designed to help businesses handle customer calls, answer approved business questions and assist with common customer interactions.

Features and availability may vary based on the business, phone setup and selected plan.

Yes. A business can start with a website and add supported AI services later without needing to rebuild the entire website from scratch.

Ownership & Access

Access depends on the service arrangement, but customers can be provided appropriate access to their website when needed.

For managed services, Twin Oak may retain administrative or technical access needed to provide support.

If you purchase and own your custom domain, it remains your domain.

Twin Oak may help configure DNS, hosting or website connections when needed.

No. A Twin Oak subdomain is provided as part of a Twin Oak service and remains connected to the Twin Oak domain.

It does not give the customer ownership of a separate custom domain.

Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

Usually, yes.

Small changes may fit within the existing project scope. Larger changes, new pages, new integrations or additional features may require an updated quote.

Recurring services may be cancelled according to the terms associated with the specific plan or agreement.

Cancellation may stop future service or renewal, but it does not automatically reverse work or services already provided.

Refund eligibility depends on the specific service, the work already completed, third-party costs and the terms agreed to for the project or recurring service.

Custom work that has already been completed or delivered may not be refundable.

If you have a billing concern, contact Twin Oak so the specific situation can be reviewed.
